Why Environment is Central to Our Mission

Poverty and environmental degradation are deeply connected. Marginalised communities — the very people HMD serves — are the first to suffer the consequences of polluted water, deforested land, and uncollected waste. When we protect the environment, we protect human dignity.

Our work integrates environmental awareness into everything we do — from the schools we support, to the elderly care homes we visit, to the hunger relief programmes we run.

Tree Plantation Drives

We organise community tree plantation campaigns in partnership with local schools, resident welfare associations, and volunteers. Each sapling planted is a commitment to the next generation — a living symbol of hope rooted in the ground.
